Every year I like to set myself a number of personal challenges… This helps me to focus on maintaining my fitness whilst also supporting charities in raising funds / awareness for their cause.

To run/trek 2014km in the year and complete a 100km trek over 5 days in the Sahara Desert.
To complete 2 marathons; the Shakespeare marathon and Chesterfield marathon.

To complete the pain barrier 10km off road mud obstacle race.

To complete the Edinburgh marathon.

To complete the Copenhagen marathon, a 1mile outdoor swim in a Scottish Loch and a 97 mile run over 4.5 days on the Scottish highlands on the West Highland Way.

To complete the Edinburgh marathon.
